Oi joulukuuuuuu, oi joulukuuuuuuu!

Taas on aika kummasti vierähtänyt ja niin paljon ollut tehtävää!
Jos nyt kuitenkin sen verran taasen näpyttelisin, että tulisi viime aikaisia tekeleitä tässä vilauteltua. En olekaan ollut aivan toimetonna!

Time has yet again somehow just vanished and I've had so much to do!

If I'd type some for a while so I'd show what I've done these past few weeks. I haven't just been sitting!

Ensimmäisenä joululahjoja..
Jotenkin kaikki jäi taas viime tinkaan ja itsellä olikin viimeisenä iltana hirveä migreenikohtaus. Sain kuitenkin lähes kaiken kunnialla valmiiksi!

First christmasgifts..

Somehow yet again everything was left to the last minute and I had a huge migraine the last evening. In any case I finished almost everything!

Ensimmäisenä tuli tehtyä kummitädille rannekkeet.
Kummitätini on aina ollut hieno rouva, jolla hyvinkin klassinen maku, joten päädyin ostamaan hänelle langaksi Hjertegarnin Alpaca silkkiä, sillä tässä väri oli juuri oikea harmaa! Ja tuntu tottakai aivan taivaallinen. :)

First I made some wristers for my godmother.

My godmother has always been a classy lady with really classic taste so I bought Hjertegarns Alpaca silk for her. The color was just the right grey in this! And the feel is just heavenly. :)

Aloitin itseasiassa tuolla ohjeella kahdet muutkin rannekkeet, toiset Regian Galaxy sukkalangasta ja toiset Novitan Floricasta. Tällä kertaa vain kuva näistä keskeneräisistä Regioista. :)

I've actually started two more wristers with the same pattern, other ones with Regia Galaxys sock yarn and the other ones with Novitas Florica. This time there's only picture of the Regias. :)

Ohjeesta poiketen, tein kaikkiin intialaisen peukalokiilan.

In the pattern there was normal thumb gusset and I desided to make indian thumb gusset to all of these.

Jatketaanpa vielä neuleilla, eli olen myöskin aloittanut ensimmäistä kertaa ties kuinka pitkään aikaan kirjoneuletta! Ja vieläpä lapasten muodossa!
Edellisen kerran olen tehny kirjoneuletta yläasteella serkulleni, joka oli silloin vielä aivan taapero, hän on nykyään jo 12-vuotias iso poika. :)

So we shall continue with knits, so I have also started norwegian  knit for since, well, ages. And in the form of mittens!

Last time I made anything such I were still in higher grades and made the jumper for my toddler of a cousin, nowadays he's already 12-year-old big boy. :)

Ja kyllä! Luulen, että käsialani on kiristynyt ja nyt mietinkin, että puranko jonnin verran pois, että olisi vähän tasalaatuisempi. :<

And yes! I think my knitting has tightened and now I'm thinking wether to unravel some so it would be bit more homogenous. :<

Näin sivuhuomautuksena, olen myöskin käynyt kahdesti Virossa tämän kuun aikana. Ensimmäisen kerran äidin kanssa kierros Karnaluksissa ensimmäistä kertaa ikinä! Ja tietenkin vähän *köh köh* desinfiointiaineita myöskin. Karnaluksin pyörähdyksestä kuitenkin sitten toiste. :)
Toisella kertaa sitten kävimme tuossa sukulaisten kanssa pyörähtämässä, syömässä ja hiukkasen kävelemässä vanhassa kaupungissa.
Kyseisellä reissulla enoni siinä sitten aloitti kovan kyselyn, että mitenkäs on, mistä mahtaisi löytyä hyvää lankaa, juuri tietyt värit ja ei saisi missään nimessä kutista. Itse ohjasin tottakai Lankamaailmaan ja neuvoin merinovillaa hankkimaan. Mutta kuten äitinikin totesi, eno selvästi vihjaili haluavansa minulta kyseisen pipon, varsin tarkat ohjeetkin sain siinä keskustelun aikana. :)
Niinpä kyseisen pipon aloitin tuossa aattona ja toivon saavani tänään vielä valmiiksi!
Ainakin neulomisen osalta.

As a side note, I've been to Estonia twice this month. First with mom and for the first time ever in Karnaluks! And ofcourse for some *cough cough* disinfects... I'll tell about Karnaluks some other time. :)

The other time we went to Estonia with relatives, to eat and walk around old town.

At that trip my uncle started asking about yarn and where and what kind of to get, for he wanted non ichy, specific color yarn for a hat. I adviced him to go check Lankamaailma and to choose merino wool. But like mom told, uncle was obviously telling me he'd like to have the certain kind of hat made by me, got pretty good instructions for it too along the conversation. :)

So I started the hat on christmaseve and hope to finish it today!

Atleast the knittig part..

Keltainen on oikeasti aika tumma keltainen kun vihreä taas hyvinkin heleä, hiukkasen liian vaalea sävy toivotusta, mutta mielestäni tarpeeksi lähelle oikeaa. :)
Pipon reunan tekniikkaa kokeilin ensimmäistä kertaa. Päästä heittäen.
Silmukoita 169 ja puikot 2,5.
Ja tuntu jotain niin ihanaa, että käyn hakemassa itselle varmasti samaista lankaa toisen värisenä!

The yellow is really kinda dark yellow and the green really bright, bit too light according to the wished tone but I think it's close enough. :)

The technique on the edge I tried for the first time. Made it up as I knit it.

There are 169 stitches and needles 2,5.

And the feel is such great that I'm going to get this same yarn in some different color for myself!

Ja jottei tylsäksi mene, niin ei pelkkää neuletta vaan myös painantaa!
Veljelle ja isälle tein taasen tuttuun tapaan paidan painaen. Veljelle tämä täältä löytyvän projectin innostamana.

And so it won't be boring there isn't just knits but also textile printing/ painting!

To bro and dad made again tees as usual. To bro I made this after I got inspired by this project.

Rajasin kuvion helmiäissinisellä, mutta migreenissä on muuten harvinaisen vaikeaa ja sivellinkin putosi kerran keskelle kuviota! Korjasin siis jälkiä hiukkasen peittovalkoisella. :P

I outlined the print with pearly blue but it's reeeeally hard when having a migraine and the brush fell in the middle of the print once! So I had to fix the smudges a bit with white. :P

Isälle taasen oli hankalampi.. Mietin pitkään ja pitkään, että mitä ihmettä sitä oikein tekisi. Äidiltäkin kyselin ohjeistusta ja sain vastaukseksi, että eläimet ovat lähellä hänen sydäntään ja edelliset paitani ovat olleet hänelle varsin mieluisia.
Noooo, googlettelinpa sitten hiukkasen hassuja elikoita ja sitten se löytyi!

To dad it was harder.. I thought and thought that what on eart should I do for him. From mom I also asked and got as an answer that  animals are close to his heart and the shirts I've made have always been well liked.

Sooooo, I googled a bit for funny animals and then I found it!

Olen nauranut itseni tärviölle tuon takia, mutta näytti olevan taas kerran varsin mieluinen, molemmat oli! Heti joulupäivänä paidat päällä. :)

I've laugh long and hard for this but seems like it was yet again well liked, both were! Shirts on already on christmas day. :)

Ja jottei vieläkään tylsäksi kävisi, niin äidin kanssa oli vissiin ylimääräistä energiaa jouluaattona ja dippailimmekin pelien ja saunan päätteeksi keskellä yötä sytykeruusuja ensimmäistä kertaa!

And so it still wouldn't be boring, we must have had too much energy on chrismaseve and we dipped after games and sauna in the middle of the night some tinder roses for the first time!

Testing testing

Olen tässä viime aikoina innostunut enemmän ja enemmän massailusta. Jonkin verran pontta innostukselle on antanut kun sain hommattua itselle ja äidille kunnon alustat. Ja vieläpä ilmaiseksi!
Uusia työvälineitä on tullut koko ajan hommailtua lisää ja saannut enemmän tai vähemmän pysyvän työtilankin tälle. Vaikka tappeleehan tuo koko ajan ompelukoneeni kanssa tilasta. :)

I've been lately inspired more and more with polymer clay. Somewhat more inspirationg I got from getting for myself and mom good working base. And for free!

New tools has been bought and I've gotten more or less permanent working space for this. Ofcourse that spacce is arguing with the space my sewingmachine needs. :)

On tullut testailtua kaikkea jännää kesästä lähtien, mm. hileitä, kynsikoruja, erilaisia tekniikoita esimerkiksi erilaisissa nukkekotiin liittyvissä ruuissa!
Tässä kasa helmiä, mitä tullut tehtyä kesän jälkeen. Osa jämämassoista, osa aivan vartavasten tehty ja kokeiltu.

I've been testing many odd things since summer, glitter, nailjewels, different thecniques for example with different doll house connected foods!

Here's a pile of beads that I've done after summer. Some are made from leftovers and some used just for this and tested.

Viikko sitten oli tarkoitus halloweeniksi tehdä sarvet päähän. Eli maanantaina oli tarkoitus vähän rekvisiittaa vetäistä vaihteeksi päälle asiakkaiden iloksi. Se nyt ei mennyt aivan niin kuin Strömsössä, mutta tässä sarvet, jotka jäivät sitten kuitenkin vaiheeseen.

A week ago it was meaning to do pair of horns for halloween. So I was supposed to put on some things just for the customers. It didn't go like in Strömsö, but here are the horns that didn't make it.

Kokeilin tekstuurilevyjen käyttöä kera extre hienon glitterin. Ihan hauska ja toimiva, vaikka olikin hankalampi saada tuonne koloihin pysymään se hile. :)

In these I tried out the texturesheets with extra fine glitter. Fun and working, even though it was bit difficult to get the glitter stay in the holes. :)

Tuossa eilen tuli sitten äidin kanssa testailtua jotain aivan muuta. Micashift tekniikkaa! Ja se toimii, jee!

Yesterday I tried out with mom something fully different. Micashift! And it worked, yey!

Kaikki muut on tehty Premoilla, paitsi oikean ylänurkan tummansininen surullinen tapaus on Fimoa. Ja kuten näkyy, Premoilla toimi loistavasti! Fimo taasen ei taida aivan soveltua tähän tekniikkaan tai sitten olisi vaatinut sen pastakoneen, jota ei ole.
On muuten aivan ihana tekniikka! Ja täysin addiktoiva! Tahtoo tehdä lissää!!! :D
Ja pintahan siis on aivan tasainen ainakin kuvioiden puolesta. ;)

All the others have been made with Premo except the sad case in the upper right corner, which is made with Fimo. And as you can see, with Permos this works great! Fimo doesn't seem to go well with this technique or maybe it requires pastamachine that I don't have.

This is a great technique! An really addictive! Wanna make moah!!! :D

And the surface is smooth, at leats considering the texture. ;)

Sukkasia

Taas tässä aikaa vierähtänyt, jotenkin vain on nykyään aina niin kiirus.
On tässä kuitenkin tullut työmatkoilla, muuten matkustellessa ja tietenkin tv:tä katsellessa neulottua. Jostain kumman syystä nyt on valmistunut sukkia!
Olen aiemmin elämässäni tehnyt varmaan jopa viidet sukat, joten tämä innostus on todella outoa.. :D

It has again taken some time, seem to be in a rush always nowadays.

In any case I've still been knitting while going to work, while going to, well, anywhere and of course while watching tv. For some odd reason I've been making socks!

Previously I've make like 5 pairs in my life so this is quite out of habbit.. :D

Ensimmäisenä jo tammikuussa aloitetut murheenkryynit, Saxonit. Puikot katkesivat kesken, innostus lopahti monimutkaisen palmikon kanssa, koko jalkapohjan vahvistettu neule käyristi sukat oudosti ja hiukkasen napakoitti liikaa. Mutta pakko todeta, tuli näistä vaan hianot!

First already in jan started jinx socks, Saxons. Needles snapped in two, I got bored of these because of the intricate cable, whole sole has been knit strenghtened and it twists the whole sock awkwardly and that made the whole sock bit too tight. But have to say, these are great!

7-veljestä, 142 g eli 284m lankaa/ yarn. Puikot/ needles 3,25.


Näissä halusin testailla kuinka tuo palmikko oikeasti näkyy, jos ei käytä nurjia kumminkaan puolin ja lankakin on värikäs. Hiukkasen testasin tuota palmikon liikkuvuuttakin. 0:)
Täyttä villaa, joten olen hiukkasen skeptinen, nyt kolmatta päivää jalassa ja meinaa jo hirveästi nyppyyntyä! Ja olin pettynyt kun täsät tulikin raidallinen! Ainoastaan kantapään kohdalla poolaa juuri kuten olisi halunnut koko sukankin tekevän!

In these I wanted to test how the cables really come out if I don't use any purls either side of the cable and the yarn's colorful. Also tested some how the cable moves. 0:)

These are full wool so I'm slightly sceptic, now wearing these for thrid day and they're already fluffing badly! And I were quite disappointed for these became striped,, I wanted really good pooling and the only pooling came in the heels!

Pakko myöntää, tästä värityksestä en pidä tipan tippaa. Mutta nämä ovat aivan äidin värit! :D
Tässäkin hiukkasen testailin tuota liikkuvien silmukoiden näkyvyyttä värikkäällä langalla ja ihan hauskat näistä tuli. Tarvii varmaan itselle tehdä myös vastaavat, eri väristä tosin. :)

Have to admit, these colors I don't like a bit. But these are moms colors! :D

In these I tested how the moving stitches look in colorful yarn and these turned out quite nice. Have to make ones for myself, from different color anyhow. :)

Kun sitten sukkalinjalle pääsin, niin pyöräytinpä sitten tämmöiset aika simppelit, mutta kuitenkin jossain määrin naiselliset ja väritykseltään mukavan rauhalliset sukat. Nämä ajattelin antaa eräälle rakkaalle ystävälle, jolla kova hetki elämässä ja yrittää kovasti toipuilla. Onpahan edes lämpimät varpaat kera lempi suklaan!

When I got to making socks I continued with the same course. Made these quite simple, but little bit feminine and nice and peacefully colored socks. These I'm giving to a dear friend of mine who is having a hard time at the moment and is really trying to cope with it. At least she'll be having warm toes with her favourite chocolate!

Ja koska tämä on näin ihanan värikäs, niin päätinpä tehdä perinteiset, täysin aivottomat sukat. :D
Ihanat näistä tulikin ihan näin ilman mitään krumeluureja. ♥

And because this is so lovely and colorful yarn I desided to make traditional, fully brainless socks. :D

I love these even without any oddities. ♥

7-veljestä Linnut, 107g eli 214m lankaa/ yarn. Puikot/ needles 3,5.

Olen aloittanut taasen uudetkin sukat. Tällä hetkellä kesken ja lankana välillä Nalle. Oli kyllä aivan hirveä pettymys kun totesin miten hötöä oli tämä aloe vera& jojoba Nalle! Puhumattakaan kuinka ohutta se on! Eivät taida kovinkaan kummoista kulutusta kestää, joten eivätköhän nämä ainakin jää itselle kotisukiksi.

I've started socks again. At the moment they're in progress and using Nalle as yarn for change. But I were really disappointed when I notised how saggy this aloe vera& jojoba Nalle is! And how thin! I don't think these will last any kind of wear so maybe I'll just keep these as my own home socks.

Kaikki sukat muuten tehty varpaista lähtien ja Saxoneita lukuunottamatta käytetty perinteistä vahvistettua kantapäätä, lieköhän tuo nyt sitten ranskalainen kantapää. Saxoneissa myös vahvistettu, mutta tiimalasi.

All the socks have been made toe up and not including Saxons, I've used traditional strengthened heel, french heel? Saxons have also strenghtened heel but hour glass.

Hiukkasen vaihtelua kaikkiin näihin sukkiin. Eräs kaveri hiukkasen vihjaisi, että tahtoisi sormikkaat talveksi. Tiedustelin värin ja ryhdyin hommiin, sain lupauksen tarjotusta ateriasta sormikkaita vastaan ja hyvä ruokahan kelpaa aina! :D

Bit variety to all these socks. A friend of mine told me that he'd like to have gloves for the winter. I asked what color and got to work. I got a promise that he'd buy me a dinner for them and good food is always welcome! :D

Näihin teen intialaisen peukalokiilan, kokeilen tuota ensimmäistä kertaa. Saapa kaveri siis toimia koekaniinina! :D

Ruskaa ja lehtiä

Menneenä viikonloppuna tuli myöskin harrastettua kankaanpainantaa ruskan muutenkin jo upeasti värittämillä lehdillä. Eli valitettavasti täällä ruska jää vain painatuksiin. :)

In the past weekend I also did some textile printing with beautifully colored leaves from the autumn nature. The only autumn colors will be the ones I've pressed, sorry. :)

Reippaasti vaan lenkille ja lehtiä nyhtämään puista (ja sieniä!). Yritimmen mahdollisimman paljon erilaisia ja erikokoisia löytää ja löytyhän niitä ihan mukava nippukin.
Taas kerran tuli sitten todettua, että ne pehmeimmät lehdet antavat myös parhaimman kuvioinnin ja ovat helpoimmat käyttää. Eihän tätäkään muistanut sitten tarpeeksi ajoissa.. :D

So just for a walk and get some leaves from the trees (and mushrooms!). We tried to find as many different kind and size of leaves as possible and gladly found quite many.

Just once more we found out that the softer leaves are the easiest ones to use and give the best print with all the veins. Didn't remember even this in time.. :D

Itse kannoin mukanani t-paitoja/ toppeja, pari tyynyliinaa ja aluslakanan!
Nuita t-paitoja hetkisen mietin ja päätin kuitenkin yhden painaa. Tämäkin jonkun vuoden marinoitunut kaapissa odottelemassa.

I brought with my some t-shirts/ tops, a couple of cushion covers and a big sheet!

I thought about those t-shirts for a sec and then decided to print one. This one has been marinating in the closet for few years.

Parempi kuin yksivärisenä, vaikka myönnettäköön, ei siitä silti aivan mielestä tullut. Noo eiköhän tuo vaikka työpaitana toimi. :)

Better than in plain color but I have to admit, didn't come out the way I would have liked it. Oh well, I think that might be my new work tee. :)

Seuraavaksi painoin astetta suurempaa tyynynpäällistä. Koristeomenoita ja mahdollisesti myöskin koristeomenan lehteä.

The next one I printed was a bit bigger cushion cover. Decoration apples and maybe the leaves from the same tree (trees like this have usually apples about 5cm big and are only supposed to be pretty in the yard).

Mielestäni tästä tuli aika hauska! ^^

I think this turned out kinda nice! ^^

Ja viimeisenä aluslakana, parivuoteen sellainen, se suurin mahdollinen. :D
Itse painamisessa oli hiukkasen hankaluuksia, mutta lakana kaksinkerroin ja vähän hermojen kiristelyä kankaan luisuessa pöydän reunoilta.. Tästä tuli kyllä täysin mieleinen. :)
Tässä käytin ainoastaan valkeaa helmiäisväriä ja lehdet olivat vaahteraa ja jokin suuri vadelmanlehden kaltainen lehti.

And lastly the bed cover, to a double bed, the largest possible size. :D

The printing itself was bit hard, had the sheet doubled, testing my nerves a little while the fabric slides off the table.. This one I like a lot. :)

In this one I used only white nacrepaint and leaves were from a maple and some large leaf quite similar to a raspberry leaf.

Aika simppeliä ja mukavan aavemaista, ehdottomasti parempi kuin tylsä yksivärinen!

Pretty simple and ghastly, in anycase much better than boring plain color!

Shrooms!

Kovin on hiljaista tältä suunnalta ollut. Jotenkin vain ollut niin hirveää hässäkkää koko ajan, enkä ole jaksanut mitään päivitellä. Paljon on silti tullut tehtyä, mm. sienestettyä ja neulottua.

Been really quiet from this side of the screen. Somehow I've just had so much to do all the time and just haven't got the mood to update anything. I've still done quite a lot, ie searched mushrooms and knit some.

Muutama viikko sitten tuli käytyä sienessä ensimmäisen kerran. Ja eiköhän sitä heti aluksi tullut pludattua polvia myöten suohon! Onneksi oli aivan uutuuttaan hohtavat ja näin toimivaksi todetut kumisaappaat jalassa.

Few weeks ago I went to search for mushrooms for the first time. And found myself in the middle of the swamp in knee deep water! Luckily I had my brand new rubber boots and they did what they were supposed to.

Sillä kertaa tuli tämmöiset löydöt.

This is what we found that time.

Taulakääpää? Fomes Fomentarius?

Jokin kääpä. Some Polyporaceae fungus.

Kumikääpä, kannon päältä. Rubber fungus , grew on top of a stub.

Nämä kuivasin ja pilkoin heti. Viimeisin oli kuin kumia olisi sahannut. Ja aivan märkä!

These I chopped and dried right away. The last one was like cutting rubber. And dripping wet!

Tänään ja eilen tuli käytyä taas sienessä, lenkin lomassa. Saaliini oli tällä kertaa tämän näköinen.

Today and yesterday we went searching again, while on a walk. This time my catch was like this.

Toki sitä tuli ihan ruokalautasellekin sieniä löydettyä, suppiloita, karvalaukkuja ja haavanpunikkitatteja, mutta ne jäivät äidille, itselle otin tällä kertaa vain värjäykseen kokeiltavat. :) Näiden lisäksi pakkasessa myöskin tästä ja edellisestä kerrasta haarakkaita (keltaa, kalvasta, kavalaa, jotain siltä väliltä) ja karvasilokkeja.

Mitä itse näitä ylemmän kuvan sieniä yritin tunnistella, niin vasemmalla löyhkäseitikkejä (näin kuivatessa kyllä löyhäävät, muuten astetta voimakkaampi haju vain :D). Oikealla ylhäältä alas Tulihelokkaa, Viherkaulussientä ja jokin aivan pikkiriikkinen voimakkaan tumman punainen sieni ja elämäni ensimmäinen; Verihelttaseitikin lakki!

Kääpien kanssa taasen aika hiljaista...

Ofcourse I've gotten some to my plate, some Craterellus tubaeformis, Lactarius torminosus and Leccinum aurantiacum, but those I left for mom. For myself I took only the ones I'll be using when testing dyeing. :)

In addition to these, I've also got some Ramaria fungus and Thelophora terrestris in the freezer.

What I checked from the upper picture, the ones on the left are  (in finnish the name is more or less stinkfungus and they really stink now that I dry them :D). On the right from top to bottom is Pholiota flammans, Stropharia aeruginosa, some teeny tiny stong dark red fungus and the first in my life; the hat of a Cortinarius semisanguineus!

With the Polyporaceae fungus I have no idea what they are...

Sienien lisäksi on tullut taasen neulottua töitä. Eli tarkemmin pari leninkiä Jennille, tällä kertaa menevät suoraan liikkeeseen myyntiin. :)

Hiukkasen meinasi olla vaikeuksia aikataulun kanssa kun tällä kertaa iski tulehdusta oikeaan ranteeseen. Lääkäriltä heti kättelyssä tyly tuomio; vaivalla tapana uusia ja kroonistua, jolloin suositellaan alan vaihtoa. 

Onneksi tämä tuli ihan niistä oikeista töistä eikä neulomisesta! :P

Also I've knitted some work and not only been hunting after mushrooms. So more precisely I've knitted two dresses for Jenni, this time these will go to shop for sell. :)

Little complications on the way for I got an infection to my right wrist. The doctor gave me crude sentence; this trouble has the habit of renewing and getting chronic when she suggest that I change my work.

Gladly I got it from my real work and not from knitting! :P

Kirpparilta myöskin löysin jokunen viikko sitten lasten kangaspuun tapaiset. Vain 3€, joten tottakai ne oli otettava! Näillä sitten harjoittelen ja opettelen, jos vaikka jotain joskus osaisi. ^^

Näillä myöskin saisi ihan nättiä vyötä aikaan, kun tosiaan vaan oppisi tuon kutomisen.

I also found from flea store few weeks back something like childrens loom. Only 3€, so I really had to take them! With these I can learn and practice, if I something actually learned some day. ^^

With these you could get quite nice belt done, when I just would learn the weaving.

Se lomarupeama menikin niin, että vain vilahti. Hyvin vähän olen kotosalla ollut ja kun olenkin erehtynyt oleilemaan, niin sisätiloissa on ollut vähintään 29 astetta (yölläkin), joten mitään ei vain ole kyennyt tekemään, lukemista lukuunottamatta. Mutta koska olen jo loman aluksi lupaillut crazy quiltiani esitellä, niin tässäpä sitä. :)

My first vacation is now over, went by so fast that I didn't really even recognize it. I've been really little at home and when I've been at home I just couldn't have done anything for the high temperature, 29 degrees at nights too, so all I've been able to do is read. But for I promised at the start of my vacation to show my crazy quilt, so here it is. :)

These here above I've just basted and overlocked the edges.

 

Tämän kirjomista olen hiukan aloitellut (sitä mukaa kun jo aloitetuista langoista löytyi jokin sopiva sävy tähän palaan), alla hiukkasen kuvaa pistoista.

Tässä palassa olen edennyt jo pidemmälle, jotenkin kummassa iski inspiraatio, varmaankin osittain kärpässienen takia. :D

In this piece I've gotten more done. Somehow got inspiration, maybe partly because of the fly agaric. :D

 

Vaikka itse sanonki, mutta nuo lampaat olivat jotenkin mahtava päähänpisto. :D

Those sheep were somehow a great whim even if I say it myself. :D

Kärpässieni on kirjailtu valkoisella fluorisoivalla kirjontalangalla, en vielä ole kokeillut josko toimii. :D

The fly agaric has been sewn with fluorescence embroidery yarn (white), haven't tried yet if it works. :D

Tämä on toinen tekemäni pala tähän täkkiin, ensimmäisen kokeilin koneella ommellen ja päätin, että teen kaiken käsin. Tämä on kasattu jo joskus pari vuotta sitten ja kirjailut varmaan vuoden takaa.

This is second piece I've made for this blanket, the first one I made by machine and decided I want to do everything by hand. This has been pieced maybe about 2 years ago and most embroidery been done maybe year ago.

Näiden valmiiksi kasattujen lisäksi sain juuri loman alkaessa yhden vielä valmiiksi, mutta nyt ei ollut kamerassa akkua, joten sen vilautan sitten joskus toiste. :)
Kaikissa näissä on tilkut ja materiaalit aivan sekalaista, löytyy paloja koulutöistä jääneistä roippeista, korjauksista jääneistä paloista ja ihan vain tilkkuina ostettuja, puuvillaa, villaa, pellavaa, keinokuituja ja muuntokuituja. Oletettavasti ei tule olemaan kovinkaan vesipesun kestävä, jos siis koskaan saan tätä valmiiksi asti. :P

I got finished one more piece just when I started my vacation but now my cameras battery is dead so I'll show it some other time. :)
In all of these the pieces and materials are really mixed, there's scraps from my school work, some patches from my repairs and some just been bought in small pieces, cotton, wool, flax, syntethic fibers and cellulose fibers. Most likely this won't be that waterwash durable, I mean if I actually get this finished some day. :P

Olen tässä muutenkin yrittänyt tuhota kangasvarastojani ja leikellyt pikku hiljaa valmiiksi suikaleiksi
kankaita, joille en äkkiseltään keksi muuta tarvetta tai ovat sen verran vähiä määriä. Nämä ovat kaikki puuvillaa. Ja pakko tehdä näin, tai tiedän, etten saa koskaan käytettyä näitä materiaaleja. :)

I've also been trying to use up my fabric stock and little by little cut my fabrics to ready strips. These are all fabrics that were so small pieces or didn't come up with any other use for them at the moment. All of these are cotton. And I really have to do this, for I know, othervise I will never be able to get all my materials used. :)

Voitin tuossa keväällä myöskin täällä blogiarvonnassa lohdutuspalkinnon (vain yhdellä meni pieleen!) ja sain nyytin räsylankaa. :)
Kovasti kyseltiin, mitä väriä mahtaisin haluta pohjaksi ja itse toivoin yllätystä, kunhan väriksi ei vain tulisi keltainen, punainen tai oranssi. Tästä tuli aivan ihana!

In the spring I won here in a blog competition a consolation price (missed my guess by just one!) and got one batch "cloutyarn". :)
I was asked what color I'd like to have as the basecolor. I wished for a surprise, just not red, yellow or orange. :) I love how this turned out!

Kyseisen langan neuloin heti pois, sain itselleni mukavat ranteenlämmittimet ja loput pari pätkää käytän oletettavasti tuohon tilkkutyöhön! ;D

I knit this yarn right away, I got myself nice wristwarmers and leftover two starnds I will be using to that quilt! ;D

Mutta nyt on hyvä hetki pesaista nopeasti pois villat ja painua nukkumaan. :)

But now is good time to wash wool and go to bed. :)
